Anglican is called Episcopolian in the US, correct? I didn't know that. Here in Canada, there seems to be a real divide over the issue.

The Episcopal Church (ECUSA) is one of 38 provinces in the Anglican Communion. The Anglican Church of Canada (ACC) is another province. In the last five years, Anglican provinces in Africa, South America and Southeast Asia have been taking oversight of Anglican congregations in the US and Canada that don't want any part of the mess in ECUSA or ACC. It would be as though the Catholic Archbishop of New York opening and or taking over parishes within the geographical boundaries of the Catholic Archdiocese of Boston without permission from the Archbishop of Boston.
