Does this mean that my still putting on my Christmas lights is kosher? So to speak. :)

Absolutely. Little Christmas is the Epiphany. Many families also (or do not) exchange gifts until the Epiphany, because that is when the Three Kings brought gifts to the Christ Child.

My kids (when they were young) always asked why our Christmas lights and decorations were up longer than anyone else's decorations.

I noticed that yesterday the Three Wise Men were put out to the side of the Christmas Nativity Scene at church by our priest -- they aren't in the center yet -- just off to the side. (They were hidden away until yesterday in the Sacristy!) LOL!
