I've asked God, now I'll ask again: When is a St Louis going to get an APA or REC parish?

You wouldn't believe the flurry of "cover my a**" e-mails circulating amongst the APA/REC & FIFNA folks over the Pannitti Affair. Practicing due diligence doesn't seem to be a long suit for the purple shirts in these groups. Bp. Boyce (APA Diocese of the West) has now yanked Pannitti's license to function in the Diocese of the West & specifically as an interim priest at the new APA mission church in San Diego.
What's really laughable is a comment by one of the key players with egg on his face when Virtue broke this story. I am withholding his name out of Christian charity....he wrote:
"If Auburn doesn't take up the story, it is doubtful whether anyone else will take much notice of David Virtue."
Yet another example of serious misjudgment. Clearly, this man doesn't have a clue who David Virtue is or the power of the Internet Blogosphere in exposing charlatans, fakes & liars to public ridicule.
