The Church of England should respond with a scathing critique of appointing homosexuals to the priesthood.

Since the Church of England happily allows gay priests and bishops, I'm not really sure that's gonna happen.

The Church of England should respond with a scathing critique of appointing homosexuals to the priesthood. I wish they would.

Uh, in case you haven't seen, the Catholic Church has just put out a re-affirmation of their prohibition on ordaining homosexuals to the priesthood.
Meanwhile, the C of E is consecrating openly "gay" bishops in New Hampshire.
In such a context, your comment is the opposite of truth.
