Exactly. This strikes me, not so much as a bone thrown to the pro-homo types within the Church, but a lever for kicking people out of seminary before they are ordained to the diaconate. That is, if they've demonstrated any homosexual tendencies while in the seminary, they can be booted for that reason explicitly.

The document looks very good. Better than I expected, frankly.

This was the only phrase that bothered me, but it's necessary. All sinners deserve a chance for repentence. Certainly there are many heterosexual seminarians who were sexually active before entering the priesthood.
