My daughter was just confirmed yesterday and chose Elizabeth as her confirmation name! I wanted to get her a St. Elizabeth medal but all the ones I saw were Elizabeth of Hungary and not the Elizabeth of the Bible.

Elizabeth is a common name among females of my family. The matriarch of our "clan", extended family, was named Elizabeth, so many of her grandkids and great-grandkids have Elizabeth as their first or middle name. My relatives were pressuring my parents to name me Elizabeth, but my parents refused to bow to the pressure and gave me two names that no one else in the family had.
