In 2004, there was the scandal of Loyola University Chicago School of Law, a Catholic institution, giving an award to strongly pro-abortion Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan.
Despite pleas from concerned Christians and even from Francis Cardinal George, Loyola refused to cancel the award.
Well, it seems history is once again repeating itself. The Womens Council of St. Ignatius College Prep, located in the city of Chicago, will have Madigan as their featured speaker at their 7th Annual Womens Council Dinner on September 22, 2005.

Catholic school? No such thing anymore. The kids are now taught to worship all faiths and even dress in turbans and play with the dradel on chanucka as my god son was given
The only real Catholic school is one run by Traditionalists with the Sisters who actually are willing to make the sacrifice and dress in the proper attire instead of like old Aunt Joan in a pair of slacks and no crucifix, and priests.
My inlaws children attend Traditional Catholic school and what a beautiful place with children that actually know their faith and go to mass every day
later pingout.
Im not a catholic, but i have spent some good time with some serious catholics in jail at rescue events. I am impressed with the sacrifice i have seen from many of them, young and old. The one thing i have never understood is why your leadership refuses to get with it and support the things that the common everyday catholic knows are the correct things to do? Can someone explain to me why the Bishops of the catholic church just don't throw out individuals who grossly violate catholic law and teaching?
I have met enough catholics who have left the catholic church who would without a doubt come back in if they had the kind of leadership they need to have a consistent church. There is nothing worse than inconsistency. If you want to increase your membership and bring home so many of the catholics that have left, then you guys that do believe need to make the church clean up it's act.
No one wants to be a member of a group that refuses to do what is right. Clean up your act and you will get a flood of people coming in to rejoice in experiencing fellowship with you.
