Welcome to the Church of St Maurice in Lille, which has been given over to the care of young adults by the Bishop. A spiritual desert has resulted symbolised by a pile of dry sand and dead wood deposited in one aisle and an art exhbition in the other.

Looks like an old building.

Stuff happens all the time like this ~ people move away, roofs fall in, windows break. Without people things don't get fixed.

Looks like the pastor should get busy and follow his flock.

There's a theory that the Catholic church has retained the form and functions of the earliest missionary efforts made by Christianity. Time to find out if that's true.
