Viva il Papa!
Wonderful pictures and news, Pyro. Thank you for the ping. What a MAN. We are so truly blessed, as we were with our Heavenly John Paul. There's an angel in the whirlwind....
Is it proper to use the word "reign" with respect to the Pope? Just a question from a Catholic n00bie.
Our young pastor is trying to introduce a Corpus Christi procession at our parish this Sunday. It might rain, however...
Thank you
I would think it is a proper term to use. The Pope is the ruler of Vatican City, which is sovereign country, and he rules as a monarch. Also, he is the leader of the Catholic Church, an institution that is clearly hierarchical.
I am looking forward to the encore on EWTN tonight. Their Webcasts leave a lot to be desired.
Yes, a most welcome sea of tranquility.
My admiration and love for this Pope continues to grow every day.
We are blessed.

Not many people know this, but in actual fact the Feast is known as "Corpus Domini" in Rome. ;)
God bless our pope! Long may he reign!
Sure, reign, papacy.
GOOD to see you here, b.
Thank you for the pictures! What an awesome celebration!
I thought it was a whirlwind in the thorn tree?
And Viva il Papa bump!
