Yes, the Ethiopian Orthodox Church has a long tradition of claiming itself to be the guardian of the Ark at St. Mary of Zion Church in Axum. Indeed, their liturgy is more or less based on the Ark. If I were a betting man, I'd bet that the Ethiopian Orthodox hold the Ark.
