***This is not true. She is the Mother of the New Covenant -- Jesus Christ.***
Welcome Sal! A little late to the party aren't we? :)
My point was that the "Mary" made of 2000 year of layers of speculation built on speculation bears little resemblance to real Mary, the meek, mild, loving and blessed Mary of the Gospels.
When the two Maries went with Black Sarah to Ephesus to found a church, I hardly think she was all that meek. Travel was arduous.
Not late to the party. We had over 140 people at a family catechesis night last night and I was one of the four people in charge.
And the topic was ::::::::::::::: Mary!
Mary still is tender and loving. She pleads for penance, prayer, fasting and conversion to her son.
We specifically addressed apparitions.
Are you aware that there is only one apparition approved by the church in which Mary wept? Do you know which one?
