Horrible, was this about events in your church or were these event's elsewhere?
I mean, it's bad enough if they were non-Catholic events being advertised in your paper, but if these are events happening on Catholic church grounds, I'd be pretty upset.

I also live in the Diocese of Rockville Centre and it is absolutely infiltrated with all sorts of New Age nonsense, up to and including a "Jesus Prayer" that had MY KIDS ohhhhhmmmmm-ing all over the place like one of Richard Gere's minions and NUNS leading a "prayer" that went something like:
Oh, Spirit of the Spring,
Send your soothing rains and gentle winds to refresh our souls...
YICK!
I hope the new pope comes down on these whackos HARD. They are endangering my children.
