An American Jesuit who is a frequent television commentator on Roman Catholic issues resigned yesterday under orders from the Vatican as editor of the Catholic magazine America because he had published articles critical of church positions, several Catholic officials in the United States said.

Being a non-Catholic, I'm glad to see this. But doesn't this show that the former John Paul allowed things to slip away and there were millions wanting to make John Paul a saint. Seems to me, either JP was correct or this Pope is correct. I'll take this one.
We're one Pope away from things slipping away again.
