From this thread, and all I've read about Pope Benedict, I am getting the odd feeling that he may be so conservative in doctrine and praxis that we in the East will be happier with him than most of the traditionalists in the Latin church.
Not sure about that. We're pretty happy right and optimistic at this point. Maybe the East and West will be one again within our lifetimes. As an enthusiast of eastern Christian history, I'd love to see it happen. Dare we hope?
