Look for the Church which amid the confusion of conflicting opinions, its members love as they love Christ, and respect it's Voice as the Voice of it's Founder, and the suspicion will grow, that if the Church is unpopular with the spirit of the world, then it is unworldly and if it is unworldly it is other-worldly..."I'm having a great day today! This was excellent reading. I live in Rochester, NY and a few years back someone gave me 8x10 glossies of Bishop Sheen when he was Bishop of Rochester, back in '63, I believe. It goes without saying, what a mind! But his face, especially his eyes, told a lot too.

"If I were not a Catholic, and were looking for the true Church in the world today, I would look for the one Church which did not get along well with the world; in other words, I would look for the Church which the world hates."
Well, the evangelical and fundamentalist Christians are more despised by the world than the Roman Catholics. What does that say?
