As I brooded over them one day, indulging my irritation, the Lord helped me see that I really had no love for them at all, that after "suffering" from them for several years I would secretly be happy if they died so that we could just be rid of them.

[Uh, 2 Cor. 9:8 would have helped here =-)] These neighbors were an offense and a danger. Love in this instance would be "calling those things that be not as if they were," and REBUKING those demons next door in Jesus Name!!!

Cast those demons to the pits of hell thereby freeing those people is one of the greatest acts of love one can perform.

How can you post articles by this author when everyone knows his publisher is--HarperCollins and you know who they also publish. He quotes people like Richard Foster, and you know Foster quotes "new age" sources. He even quotes Michael Foucault and Bill Cosby, Madame Guyon and Watchman Lee. The "Golden Triangle of Spiritual Growth" looks vaguely like the symbol for the Illuminati or Freemasons and he quotes scripture from the NIV, NAS, and rarely quotes from the Authorized Version. I understand he was the chair of the Philosophy Dept. at Southern Cal. and even taught at Fuller Seminary and you know what that means. This guy is almost as contagious and dangerous as, dare I mention the name, RICK WARREN, and he probably has influenced as many people for the Kingdom, as Francis Schaeffer. Thanks for the post, and I am sincere in my appreciation.
