Michael Brown at Spirit Daily has written the following piece - it's a piece about how Terri is like a victim soul journeying this week with Christ on the road to Golgotha:
http://www.spiritdaily.com/schiavodarkness.htm

And so, yes, Terri Schiavo and her parents are brought this week in the most excruciating fashion with Christ to Golgotha. Woe to those who do not see the evil. Woe to those who have washed their hands of this like Pontius Pilate.

Extraordinary times grow more extraordinary and sometimes by the hour. How can it escape our attention that the now-famous Florida woman in a severely disabled but aware state is being left to publicly expire when all she needs from us -- from this "humanistic" culture -- is food and water? Do we call it a public expiration or a public execution? If she dies -- and there is always hope where there is prayer -- it will be the first case of judicial euthanasia in full public view.

How grand and cold is our system of law! It is incredible, almost exhausting verbal capability. The judicial system has exposed itself as morally and even professionally bankrupt. It makes decisions without even knowing the essential facts about a case. This has happened many times due to technicalities in murder cases, and now it is happening in the case of a slow-motion innocent killing.

If Terri Schiavo were unconscious and on a respirator, or if she had actually expressed her wishes in a living will (or in any other credible way), it would be one thing. We should not fear death. We all have to go. There is a time.

And that is the key phrase: there is a time.

It is not her time. She has awareness. She can communicate, to an extent. She has emotions. The majority leader of the Senate -- a surgeon -- observed this himself over the weekend. There are nurses who believe she could be taught to talk full sentences again, if they would only give her therapy!

And none of this comes out. The devil blinds us. Let us take the sword of the Spirit in this one. Let us surround the hospice, at the very least with prayer, slashing into the darkness. A true outrage. And if she does die, if Terri, who has become a symbol for the entire pro-life cause, is allowed to struggle these next few days for basic sustenance (I thirst), it will be almost too hard to take. We will all go to Golgotha. And we will see her death followed by extraordinary events. It was Maria Esperanza, the famous and Church-approved Catholic mystic, who predicted that the death of an innocent person would herald a long-expected step-up in purification.

Terri Schiavo is a victim-soul who is now set before us in a way that has garnered world attention. There is no coincidence in when this is all coming down. There is no denying the mystical component.

It was on Palm Sunday that a compromise that looked like it could rescue Terri was forged but now we are in the deepest part of Lent and about to arrive at the deepest part of Holy Week. Nor is it just Terri. The greatest moral leader of our time, John Paul II is now clearly languishing and may not be long for the world, may not be there for long as the great light in Rome that has pierced the otherwise encompassing darkness. There are children abducted. There is the shooting in Minnesota.

It is starting to come down. It is seen even in nature. There is upheaval. There is darkness. For now, it seems as if the devil is winning. He has blinded a great nation and many parts of the world. We take comfort only in knowing that no matter how dark it seems, the pain and the darkness is followed always by the Light of Resurrection.

Lord, you are the ultimate judge.

By your power,
we ask for justice for Terri.
By your strength,
we ask for care for Terri.
By your love,
we ask that Terri be cared for.
By your passion,
we ask that Terri be nurtured.
By your might,
we ask justice for the wrong done to her
in the name of convenience,
secularism,
and a vision of the world where you play no part.

O Lord,
hear our prayer,
and let our cry come unto thee.

Amen.

O Jesus,
remember your mother
as you hung there on the cross,
as she watched each breath
as you grew closer
and closer
to the end.
How much you asked of her
how much she was willing to give.

Think now of Terri's mother,
so tired,
so grieving,
so determined,
so loving.

Have mercy on her
at this time of trial.
be with her,
and the rest of the family
as they watch Terri slip further down
that dry and dusty slope,
fighting for her each step of the way.

O Jesus,
have mercy on this mother,
keep her tight in the palm of your hand,
this day, and always.
Amen.

There always lost battles in every war. Do not lose heart all my friends! I was thinking this morning that Pontius Pilate, a heathen ruler use to release a prisoner every passover.

I am reminded that I serve the King of Kings, and if a sinful pagan ruler can be that merciful; if our elected officials can be merciful enough to step out of their comfort zone to attempt to save Terri's life; Our Heavenly Father will do at least as much---yet probably more.

I am praying, and we must fast to cast out these demonic forces...I am praying and fasting and asking the King of Kings to set Terri to heal her--and set her free from those who mock God and want her dead. Please join me. Let us be one voice. Let us be as the friends who cut a hole in the roof of the house to lower their disabled friend down for Jesus to heal. Jesus said the faith his friends healed the man.

Raise Terri up to Christ. Be her friend who takes her to the healer.

O Lord!
Some times when we see wickedness
running rampant,
celebrated as freedom,
thought to be a virtue
by those who know you not,
it burns,
the anger that comes unbidden,
that this is not right,
not fair,
not just.

At those moments, Lord,
help us to offer up
this anger to you,
a burnt offering
of our love and concern,
fruit of having followed you.

Help us to remember
those times you experienced first hand
the wickedness of man,
his willingness to cause pain
and hurt and death,
his ability to take pleaure
in what is not right
and just and true,
when for love of us
you went down into the dust of death
through pain and blood and grief.

Help us to remember, too,
that you love us all,
those who harm
and those who heal,
and how you asked us
to care for those who would hurt us,
love those who would harm us,
pray for those who hate us.

Speak your words into our heart, Lord,
that remind us
that you are always in control,
and that we can rest confidently
in your arms,
letting go and letting you
be God.

Do not let the enemy steal your joy! Then he has really won. Satan comes to rob, kill and destroy.

He is mocking us right now.

I understand your anger. And I must admit here that I have felt the same way in the last few days. Yet, you must Ask the Lord to forgive that anger. Anger is a sin. Christ taught us that to be angry, we are in the same class as the murderer!

"You have heard that the law of Moses says, `Do not murder. If you commit murder, you are subject to judgment.' But I say, if you are angry with someone, you are subject to judgment!" Matt. 5:21-22

Do not allow the enemy to cause you to join the murderers!

NOW is the time to pray! Pray especially hard when you don't feel like it! The good news is, if you follow Christ in obedience, to pray and ask forgiveness for this anger and put this in His hands, HE WILL GIVE YOU THE ABILITY to get over your anger! He gives us the very thing he demands of us!

But if we don't come to Him, then He can not do the wonderful work in us!

Satans greatest victory is when Christians do not pray!

This was my lesson today.

I hear your words. Last night when I was in torment over what is happening to Terri, the only comfort I found was during prayer.

In these days of passover, I can not help but think about the similarity between those who are trying to save Terri's life, who are covered with the blood of the Lamb; and those who are trying to kill Terri---who do not have the blood of the lamb over their door posts; with those children in Egypt, so long ago.

Just as in the days of Moses, when God's people were killed daily for the power and glory of Pharoh; God says, to the rulers of this land who value their own glory and power, "let my people go".

God is giving the government of this land a chance to do the right thing. He will deal with those who mock Him and are determined to continue their oppression of the people.

"Father, bring glory and Honor to your name".

After I read your next post, I realised that.

Ironic that today is "World Water Day" isn't it?

Friends, in my prayers, I have felt that the Lord is calling me to pray for Mike Schiavo. Has anyone else felt led to pray for him?

Jesus came to save sinners. He does want Mike to be saved, just as much as Terri.

So, I have been praying that the Lord would witness to Mike, that mike would realise his sin, and turn from it, to the blood of Jesus Christ. I Pray that God would place a huge burden on Mike's soul...the burden of regret and guilt for what he is doing to Terri and her parents and her sibliings; I pray that mike would allow Christ to cleanse his heart of all anger and resentment; from all desire of revenge; and that Jesus would fill his heart with love and compassion for Terri and her parents. I pray that Mikes thoughts and mind would be filled with the words of Christ, not the words of his lawyer. I pray that Jesus Christ would bind up the demonic forces that have decieved Mike Schiavo; take away their influence on him, and soften mike's heart to hear what Christ is saying to him. I pray that Jesus Christ would fill Mike Schiavo's heart with pity, compassion and love for those he has fought so long. I pray that Mike Schiavo would grant Terri life, and her freedom from him.

I pray that Mike Schiavo would have Terri's feeding tube reinserted, and give custody to her parents. In the name of Jesus Christ, may it be so.

Thank you heavenly Father for your wonderful works! Thank you for hearing our prayers! Amen, and Amen.

O Lord, we offer you
all the burdens of this sad vigil,
the frustrations,
the despondancy,
the grief,
the sorrow,
the sense of outrage,
the impatience,
the desparation
the longing
the need for final resolution
the desire to help thwarted,
we give it all to you,
who told us to give you all our burdens,
we offer it all up,
our carrying this particular cross you have given us.

O Lord,
hear our prayer,
and let our cry come unto thee.

Remember you child Terri,
living witness to the evil of the age,
and keep her close,
and give us,
who work the work you have asked us to
the peace that comes from
walking in your way,
doing the tasks you give us,
answering your call,
this day and always,
amen.

Father, we stand before you and watch the evil forces walk haughtily before you as they work to take the life of Terri. This is an evil time Lord. Hold Terri and her family in the hollow of your hand. Comfort them Lord. Give no rest to the ones that devise iniquity aganist her.

Help us to remember your words: He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?

Father have mercy on Terri. Father, grant justice. In the lovely name of Jesus I pray.

Lord Jesus, remember when you fed your people in the desert. Please, please give Terri hidden manna and supernatural water, alleviate any suffering she may be undergoing, and confound those who want to take her life away before you chose to.

What is the bible passage where the angels took food to one of the prophets? Does anybody know?

I don't think he could do that even if he had a road to Damascus experience. It's out of his hands. Nothing with God is impossible, but it sure is improbable.

~ PRAYER ~

St. Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle
Be our protection against the wickedness
and snares of the devil;

May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host,
by the power of God,

Thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits
who wander through the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen
