ChevronTexaco - The Hidden Homosexual Agenda

Posted on 03/18/2005 10:31:24 AM PST by Generation_W

The purpose of this thread is to inform persons of all faiths that ChevronTexaco as a corporation is trampling their employees' religious beliefs. I am currently an employee of ChevronTexaco's El Segundo California refinery. A couple of months ago management was approached by the CTLGEA (ChevronTexaco lesbian and gay employees association) about offering a sexual orientation, gender i.d. & gender roles in the workplace class. The CTLGEA has offered to facilitate this training and their choice of trainers is a militant lesbian by the name of Liz Winfeld. Ms. Winfeld is an "authority" on such issues as same sex marriage and transexualism in the workplace. Initally this was a voluntary training course but due to lack of participation has become mandatory for all employees. Several employees, myself included, have voiced very strong objections as to the content of the course based on our own religious convictions. The course content is highly sexually explicit and runs the gamut from same sex relationships to genital mutilation in the form of sexual reassignment surgery. Management is determined to force their religious employees to participate in this training in violation of our own conscience and may very well be violating Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 "Freedom of Religious Expression in the Workplace." I urge all who read this to please send a letter to the refinery general manager expressing support for the rights of employees to not engage in training which violates their conscience. The manager's name and address are as follows: Gary Yesavage 324 W. El Segundo Blvd., El Segundo, CA 90245

The president of the El Segundo chapter of CTLGEA can also be reached for comment: Kelly Mobley 324 W. El Segundo Blvd., El Segundo, CA 90245. Kelly is also the facilitator of this training course and would have the power to influence management's decision in this matter.

I was once required to go see a homo-play back in college for theatre class. I told my professor that it was against my religion, escpecially considering that I would be financially supporting this garbage by buying tickets. So he allowed me to do a report on another play. I got an A-, even though I though I deserved an easy A.

Good luck with your struggle. Have courage. Remember what workers can accomplish if they unite. If they could bring down communism in Poland, you can fight this too. Chevron won't risk letting this become a big story.

Please keep us posted on the struggle, if it goes away, we need to know. Till then, I am boycotting Chevron.

Right on for the boycotting, it appears that the company only listens if their pocketbook is affected or the results are negative P.R. I have been on vacation this last week but a coworker informed me that the refinery general manager is planning on sending a committee to the next class in April to provide him with feedback. At first it seemed like I was standing alone in my efforts against this "training" but there is a growing groundswell of opposition. A properly worded letter to the editor of the Daily Breeze ( a south bay local paper) should arouse more than a slight interest in the refinery's spinmeister p.r. expert.
