As a young man applying for acceptance in the local seminary, I have to say that the seminarians I have encountered have been nothing if not orthodox and devout. I think there is great hope in the new crop of priests. They will reform the Church. We have seen firsthand the abuses of power, especially as they have been manifested in the liturgy. We want to bring authentic reform and true devotion. The phenomenon of an increasingly orthodox youth in the Church is well-documented and real. I think that several bishops are at the forefront of attracting these holy young men to priestly vocations, especially Bishop Robert Morlino and Archbishop Timothy Dolan. May they and their seminarians receive the benefit of our prayers.
May all of the Saints in Heaven Pray for you and watch over you. May Our Lady of the Way be at your side and Saint Joseph be your mentor.
God bless you!
And be assured of our prayers and support. Nothing could help our Church more than new vocations plus devout and holy priests. Thank you for your willingness and sacrifices to serve God.
May I say I admire you, and your choice to serve God.
What you wrote is very inspiring, and I pray it is as so.
Be true to the Word of God. Do as Christ would do in all circumstances, and you will always be in the satisfaction of God in heaven.
I don't know the current status of leadership, nor their character. I do know something about their character of the last few years, and it is abysmal. But don't take my observations as an indictment against what you are charged to do, by God Himself. Spread the Good News that Christ died for us sinners, and without that gift, we all deserve Hell.
Be strong in the face of the homosexuals in the clergy, for there are many in the church. Some are good men despite their sin---they help others and try. We are all sinners after all. But some are evil, and their lusts control them and their every action to the point of mania, and you will never find a more addicted group of human beings on the planet. Don't hold church leadership as your final authority----hold up Christ, the Lord. If you do that, you will not fail.

May God bless you with wisdom and discernment. I hope you also do a lot of research into the seminary staff and the diocesan vocations people.
I pray to God that its a seminary which turns out priests and not psychologists!

I take it you mean within the Novus Ordo regime which is the root of the problem both in its philosophy to subvert the Church and its array of practices developed to ensure Catholicism no longer is the force it used to be. Unless one is an eager supporter of the Vatican II agenda, I cannot see the point in anyone entering a Novus Ordo seminary with the intention of restoring tradition; the contamination and dishonesty will be too great to bear. Better to seek out a truly traditional seminary outside the clutches of unholy dioceses and start to learn Latin!
