At my parish, Saint John the Apostle in VA Beach, we have exposition and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on Friday's of Lent from 7:00 am til 7:00 pm followed by Stations of the Cross and then Benediction. I'm assigned the hour between 6 and 7 pm...then I stay for Stations and Benediction and always leave the church feeling great.

We have one parish in town that offers perpetual adoration. I've considered signing up for an hour a week. I should look into that.

You should look into that...you will be amazed how much adoration does for your faithwalk...

On days we don't have adoration, the church is still open...just being near to the tabernacle is a holy thing.

We also have a church here with 24/7 adoration. So far, I just sign up for the First Fridays from 12:00 noon to 6:00 PM at my little parish.

I've had about three people ask me to sign up at the downtown chapel. Hmmmm. Guess there's a message there.
