Challenging “Challenges”

Exposing Carpetbagger Egan on the Lie of “Realignment”

Your Eminence:

One could drive a Popemobile through the holes in your shopworn rationale for “realignment.” We exposed them a year ago in a letter to Catholic New York [CNY], still neither published nor answered. In “Challenges,” your November 2004 editorial for CNY, you didn’t even try to cover them. As far as you’re concerned, they simply don’t exist.

This open letter to "Cardinal" Edward Egan of NY, poses a challenge to rebut the author - which of course was ignored. The author dismantles Egan's various rationales for "Realignment", i.e. closing churches, and shows that Egan's plan is a "done deal" not requiring the input of affected parishioners - despite the dictates of Canon Law to the contrary.

AAABEST and ultima ratio,

Please know I bow to your moral fortitude.

Your absence has brought with it a thundering slam of the great doors denying serious intellectual discourse within the sanctuary of a citadel disingenuously wrapped in the banner of enlightenment.

I nonetheless pray for your quick return. We remaining are want to fill the measure of wisdom and spiritual thought you give to these pages dedicated to the Sacred Dogma, Traditions and Canon Law of The Roman Catholic Church.

I miss them too. Despite my disagreements with the (apparently schizmatic) status of the SSPXers, I listen to those guys when I want to hear solid Catholic faith instead of sinking into diabolical modernist heresy.

Both are awesome guys, and the forum is the worse off for losing them.

Know you are in our prayers. I too miss you guys. And for whatever you were banned (Who ever knows around here?), I am quite certain that the stupidity I continue to see in other forums will get published.

Just nothing to do with traditional Catholicism; or anti-ecumenism; or anti-Freemasonry, etc. etc.
