Likewise an orthodox Catholic will confuse people by supporting strict adherence to Vatican guidelines on liturgical celebrations and perhaps even a widespread restoration of the Tridentine form of the Latin liturgy, at the same time as he speaks against corporate domination of the economy and warns that the policy of "my country right of wrong" originated in Hell. Translation: Be a GIRM-observer on liturgy, and a political liberal.

"Orthodox" is a far better word to use regarding Catholics.
Unfortunately, it is obvious that even this self-described "orthodox" writer can be just as patronizing and condescending as "conservative" and "liberal" Catholics.

Thanks for that. I have been in the Orthodox camp for some thirty five years and find that Over those years, I sooner or later offend all my friends by taking a Catholic position. I have been told I am too conservative and too liberal over the same issue by different folk.
The way of truth is a lonely road. Were it not for my faith, I would despair.
