An Indiana priest who has been accused of sexual misconduct with a minor at an Orlando Catholic church more than a decade ago was also an associate pastor at two other parishes in Central Florida, Orlando diocese officials confirmed Monday.
A letter from Orlando Bishop Thomas Wenski was sent to St. Peter's Catholic Church in DeLand and Holy Family Catholic Church in Orlando, informing them of the allegations against the Rev. Richard Emerson, 52. Wenski said if anyone knew of other incidents, they should come forward, and he asked for prayers for those involved, according to the letter.
On Sunday, the Rev. Thomas Barrett told parishioners at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Orlando that Emerson, who served as associate pastor of that church from 1987 to 1990, is under investigation by the Diocese of Gary, Ind., where he has served most of his clerical career. The alleged victim says the abuse took place at St. Charles, said Carol Brinati, a spokeswoman for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orlando.

And I wonder why there is no Traditional Latin Mass from 1962 affiliated with the diocese? (sarcasm) Yet, there are countless numbers of clown ministries, AIDS ministries, charismatic groups, etc. Oh yeah, and all the new churches are "ugly as sin." Especially the ones here; http://www.hredeemer.org/np-attractions-txt.html
A Canon Lawyer I know and have contracted in the past told me that Orlando was a homosexual hotbed.
My goodness, much like the Palestinians and their suicide bombers (and with much the same effect), there seems to be a never ending supply of pederast priests.
Unfortunitly, the cannon lawyer you know is right on the money.
IF that wasn't bad enough, the pastor there in the 1980s ran off with a woman. There's a reason why I don't attend this church despite it being less than half a mile away from me. And this is just the tip of the iceburg. The liturgy there is aweful.
Yup -its a big 'vacation' spot, 'convention' spot and with Disney's annual 'Gay'la Orlando is a favorite place for the disordered ones...
Update from Orlando Sentinel:
Basically, the case is off civil wise because of a lack of evidence. As well as the statutes of limitations has passed.

Wasn't the priest known as Big Hairy Bear or something of that nature looking into Orlando per the Roman Catholic Faithful investigation?
