I am the child of a Jewish father and a Christian mother.
I guess I could be Jewish according to two sects of Judaism but I'm not now-because I converted to Christianity in my 20's while I was in the service.
I married a Jewish woman back in the days religion didnt matter to me, and over the years we have had two kids.
The problems of the world today arent going to pass over my house and leave me alone just because I am not up to Halacha standards, or in accordance with a Church Doctrine.
Half Jews, Crypto Jews, mamzers, whatever you call us, we have a unique insight into the topics of this discussion. I think somewhere along the line, we have a destiny to fulfill in this equation as well. I don't exactly know what it is.
On the topic at hand, I think Rabbi Rosensweig spelled it out best when he wrote the "Star of Redemption" theory. Christianity is evangelical and destined to spread the word to the world. Judaism is the corporate knowledge. Christianity brings people to G-d. Jews are already with G- and dont need to be brought into the fold.

The only problem is people that are Jews,and Gentiles that deny GOD by being Atheists dabbling in the occult, I think Orthodox Judaism has a special relationship with GOD but the world is very secular and secular jews need Jesus or go back to Orthodox Judaism..
One other thing people that are Christians or Jews that do not follow the tenants of that faith have no place with GOD a Christian cannot say I accepted Jesus in my heart therefore I can continue to steal... or someone saying I am a Jew I don't need to study TORAH or live by it, I already have a special place with GOD.
Our Father in heaven does not tolerate hypocrisy or in sincere hearts from anyone....
I read somewhere recently that you have to have a Jewish mother to be considered Jewish. That was the first I'd heard of that... (I *had* heard that you had to have a Jewish mother to be *neurotic* enough to be Jewish - but *I'm* living proof that *that* is pure bullschumer...)
I can find something in any religion that I like, that none of the other religions have (even Islam, although that won't deter me for an instant from exterminating it forthwith if it doesn't stop yelling and throwing things.)
