I don't think my friend needs it but her daughter was brought up in the ECUSA. She didn't pick up these ideas at home, it seems more like she got them at college and from friends.
She won't discuss these things with her priest (who would set her straight) but continues to consider herself in good standing with the Church. Go figure.
