I choose to

BELIEVE JESUS

when

HE SAYS

MY SHEEP HEAR MY VOICE.

I think HE KNEW QUITE ENOUGH ABOUT ENGLISH AND COMMUNICATION

to have said

MY SHEEP SHOULD READ THE PRINTED TEXT ONLY

IF

HE had meant THAT!!!

I read Him as a Person who tended to say what HE MEANT

and

MEAN WHAT HE SAID.

That's because sheep cannot read. Are you literally a sheep?

I think HE KNEW QUITE ENOUGH ABOUT ENGLISH AND COMMUNICATION

That's funny. You don't really believe Jesus was speaking the good king's english when He said that, now do you?

If you understand communication then you know what a metaphor is, don't you?

I believe Jesus' words in John 10:27, too. I also believe His words in John 10:26, the preceding verse, wherein He says

"But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep."
. Note the cause and effect. Do you believe Jesus when he tells this crowd of Jews that they don't believe because they aren't His sheep? Why won't Jesus adopt these poor unbelieving sheep, so that they will believe?
