"Allah" is the Arabic word for God, and Arabic speaking Christians called Him that long before the year 622 of the Christian era, and still do.

Intersting. So you do worship Allah?

Is there much difference among Allah, Jahweh, Jehovah, Waheguru, Atman, or whomever? Ultimately, God is Love, in every religion.

'Allah' is more of a generic word for God, as is 'God' in English or 'Elokim' in Hebrew. The Hebrew word translated in the KJV as 'The Lord' is, by contrast, very specific.

So the word 'allah' was used by some semitic speakers, Christians as well as Jews, long before Mo Ham Head. The 'moon god' story might be based on spelling / pronunciation confusion.

Find a native Arabic-speaking Christian and ask him to translate 'God' into Arabic.
