You argue out of a spirit of contention ... not one that desires the truth. You know exactly what I mean. To sell Christianity to the Pagans in the early centuries the 'church' adopted rituals and practices that are not biblical. Actually some of the error may not be Pagan but can be traced back to even earlier religions of the Greeks or Romans.

I'm not sure exactly where on earth you guys dreamed up the crazy idea of a celibate priesthood. I just know it did not come from heaven as it is not only NOT in the Bible .... it contravenes direct Bible teaching. To me the horror of pedophile priests is stark testament to the evil of this practice. One has to be under a spell not to see it.

Just THIS makes Roman Catholicism in danger of hellfire. However I personally believe any catholic who holds to the core of the religion, ie that Christ died for them will be saved. Even though they commit error such as the idolatry of praying to ANYONE but God.

You know, sometimes there are thoughts one ought to keep to oneself.

Uh, try reading scripture and you'll see that it's better to be celebate, but if you burn with desire, it's better to marry (my paraphrase).

Seems like you disagree with Paul's vision in Damascus? Seems like you think we should all follow OT laws?

"We guys" didn't "dream" this up. If you weren't so ignorant as to not read about the Church's teachings beyond what your mullah tells you, then you would know that the Church had married priests right up until the 9th century and the Eastern Rite branches of the CAtholic church (like the MAronnite Catholic church) have married priests.

Coo, so you've fallen for the lib media's sensationalism? What's the percentage of these fallen priests? You go a step further than the media and instead of villifying the other priests, the majority of whom are holy men, you villify the Church of God?

Sirach 8:3 - Dispute not with a man of railing speech, heap no wood upon his fire.

Sirach 8:16 - Provoke no quarrel with a quick-tempered man, nor ride with him through the desert

I wonder if you would elaborate on this for me?
