You are quite welcome.
Thx 2 U.
Sure. Will add you to that ping list.
Which reminds me--I should ping that list!
Thanks.
Ahhh, yes, Dear John Locke . . . still locked into his limited perspective and fierce biases.
Ah well, events will overtake that perspective in due course.
PROPHECY ETC PING LIST PING
Methinks you strain at gnats and swallow camels.
Methinks you've taken out a mortgage on a bridge in Brooklyn.
Think away.
Quix, I have a question.
There have always been wars, earthquakes, famines and floods. Isn't it possible that the end times began when Christ was born/died. I say that because with God, there is no time, and a thousand years are like a day with Him.
Doesn't seem like one of the 5-10 most plausible explanations to me! LOL.
I do want to ask God about his 2,000 years "soon" business! LOL.
I believe God deliberately obsfucated things from the fierce unbelievers and particularly the pharisee types.
But I believe he wants earnest believers to have at least a rough idea of the broad outline. And more details from Him as we get closer.
After all, Christ Himself indicated we should watch and be ready discerning the signs and times.
Thank you Quix. I will save this to read.
U R QUITE WELCOME, AS ALWAYS.

I have met John and Paula Sandford. One of their leading assistants used to live with me. I have found him authentic. I'm just now finishing reading their excellent TRANSFORMATION OF THE INNER MAN.
I would trust what he's saying way above 99% of others in the prophetic arena. In any case, it also resonates with what I and some others of my closer Believers Brothers and Sister have been feeling for months.
Please prayerfully consider this and pray as led. Blessings, Quix.
This was on Trumpet wind so maybe you have seen it...Line this up with what came out of the White Dove conference about nuclear war........NOT COMFORTABLE....Meri

Pam, I sent this to some people and I almost sent it to you. Now I feel I should send it to you. It confirms this prophetic word and it is a call to prayer. This is about John Sandford and it happened on Oct. 14th.
Hey everyone!
I went to a conference this past weekend where John Sandford was speaking. He is the founder of the inner healing courses, Elijah House Prayer Training, I took and now am facilitating. He is the spiritual father of John Paul Jackson.
I never saw him like he was. He said he was taken up to the counsel of the Lord here in NY just Friday morning. (Oct. 15th) God asked him, like God spoke to Abraham about Sodom and Gamorah.
The Lord asked him if He should take his hand of protection off America because of all the immorality here and bring America to her knees. Many would be killed. He knew it was an atomic bomb and it was way bigger than 9/11. Or should He give America more time. More time meant a lot of pain & suffering.
He thought about it and remembered that 9/11 had brought people to their knees but only for a short time. He chose more time. God said the cost would be great. When this happened to him in the past God confirmed his answer that he would give more time. This time it was not confirmed. He felt it depended fully on the prayers of the people.
I never saw John Sandford so humbled and shaken. He was so solomn and said he was shaking in his boots. I knew he had been through some experience. It brought us to tears & intercession. We have been spreading the word to people to pray, pray, pray! God is contemplating taking his hand of protection off America. It does not look good. Although I feel it is best that Bush is president.
Prayer is the only thing that will protect America. Even if we get more time God said there would be much suffering. Our hearts join God in grieving over the sin in the world. John said to repent, repent repent for the sin of the world. one by one repenting for all the sin in our country.
It was comforting that Bush won because of values. I told God, see, there are more of us who want morality. Pass this word on. Does anyone know how close we are to some large city being attacked with an atomic bomb? The only reason it has not happened yet is because of our Good Lord! And many cities being effected by this, not to mention the fear in the whole country?
Pass this on to anyone. Either way our country is in for some judgement. But lets gather and pray that people come to Him by grace and not by a bigger disaster. This just happened 10/15/04 in Syracuse, NY!! For such a time as this. I am feeling lead to pass this on to as many as possible for intercession and repentance for all the sin in our country. Pass this on to anyone you feel lead to. I feel a great urgency in my Spirit! Blessings, In Jesus Name, Diane
I am not impressed by prophecy based on news headlines. Nothing new here, move on.
The watchman can't be very responsible for those determined to be willfully blind and deaf.
It's a very ignorant statement to assert that the exhortation came from headlines.
The experience John Sandford had was on that date as I understand it.
Sheesh.
No, but the watchman is held accountable for raising the alarm after the gate has been breached. This prophecy is nothing new. Professionally, this threat it is something I have been aware of for quite sometime, and like I stated it is in all the papers. This prophecy is no different than saying God told me he might allow it to rain today, or maybe not, it is all based on man's response to this prophecy. No matter what happens, you can point back and say "See, I told you so!"
Thus far I have been reading this thread with a mixture of amusement and mild interest, but this latest tripe has changed my opinion to one of pity.
Hey; I have a Prophecy: Bush will win the 2004 election. I said it back in October. Feel free to quote me.
This guy has claimed to be Jesus. Do a google search on him, he is scary. I believe he could be the anti-Christ
Who is Maitreya?
He has been expected for generations by all of the major religions. Christians know him as the Christ, and expect his imminent return. Jews await him as the Messiah; Hindus look for the coming of Krishna; Buddhists expect him as Maitreya Buddha; and Muslims anticipate the Imam Mahdi or Messiah.
Although the names are different, many believe that they all refer to the same individual: the World Teacher, whose personal name is Maitreya (pronounced my-tray-ah).
Preferring to be known simply as the Teacher, Maitreya has not come as a religious leader, or to found a new religion, but as a teacher and guide for people of every religion and those of no religion.
At this time of great political, economic and social crisis Maitreya will inspire humanity to see itself as one family, and create a civilization based on sharing, economic and social justice, and global cooperation.
He will launch a call to action to save the millions of people who starve to death every year in a world of plenty. Among Maitreya's recommendations will be a shift in social priorities so that adequate food, housing, clothing, education, and medical care become universal rights.
Under Maitreya's inspiration, humanity itself will make the required changes and create a saner and more just world for all.
Just slightly off topic, did you read any of the political conservatives' take on Bush win. The words of Mark Steyn strikes me:
http://theaustralian.news.com.au/common/story_page/0,5744,11288119%255E7583,00.html
"[A]s always, the "youth vote" never showed up. Last year, I saw some patronising BBC documentary (aired on Your ABC) claiming that George W. Bush was controlled by fanatical Christian fundamentalists who believe in the Rapture. The "youth vote" is the Left's equivalent of the Rapture: it may happen one day, but not on any schedule you want to put money on. "
As much as I enjoy the political and cultural harpings by Steyn, as a Christian who believes that the Bible prophecy set in dispensationalism is biblical I found that I'm not amused by his use of the rapture analogy. What do you think?
"The more spiritually sensitive and gifted Believers that I knew at the time kept saying that Y2K was not going to be any big deal."
So they had to be "spiritually sensitive and gifted Believers " to come to the same conclusion as the atheists ?
FWIW, Quix, so have I. I've sat in classes taight by both of them. At the time (maybe he still does) John referred to his wife as the sensible one, and to himself as the "super spook" in their family. I don't doubt their faith, but I have had occasion to doubt his gifts.
