Watch the video of the dedication of St. Mary's Oratory in Wisconsin, with the Traditional Latin Mass, tonight!
Those who have never seen a traditional Latin Mass, should watch the PORTIONS A note of caution, this entire ceremony should run approximately four hours yet they have edited it down to 60 minutes or less for broadcast. The Pontifical Solemn High Mass alone should run two hours.
I don't want to be a wet blanket but please beware of EWTN's edit of anything they deem objectionable - in other words anything that is true to the Faith that contradicts the heresies of the 'new mass'.
And of course the TRUE MASS MUST always be coupled with the TRUE FAITH, sine qua non.
In the indult, it most certainly is not. In the SSPX, as the years pass, they no longer seem to be sure of anything.
For anyone unfamiliar with a Solemn Consecration, the ceremony of the Dedication of a church is four-fold:
Firstly, the Lustration , or Washing of the Church (performed both outside and in, this ceremony purifies the church and prepares it for the consecration. The water, called Gregorian, has been specially blessed for this occasion)
Secondly, the Translocation and Deposition of the relics.
Thirdly, the Consecration (consecration of the Church by the unction on the twelve crosses, and the consecration of the altars)
Finally, the Pontifical Mass in the newly consecrated Church .

What a beautiful church!!!! Reminds me a lot of my own parish, and Our Lady Star of the Sea in Cape May, NJ.
nice to see they're still making beautiful new Catholic churches
Here is a picture of the interior before the restoration:

Just saw it a few minutes ago; lovely lovely lovely. Love that Gregorian chant. The Gates of Heaven indeed.
I tried to find this on EWTN , but was unable to.
Did you compensate for a time change? I believe the times posted on EWTN's website were for eastern time.
