Daniel 7:9-10, 13-14 or Revelation 12:7-12 Psalm 138:1-5 John 1:47-51 There is a fragrance to filial obedience which nothing can replace, and of which no one ever grows tired; for this obedience is affectionate and free from self seeking. Our Lord demands it of us. He leaves a thin streamlet of it in our parents, but He wants the whole river for Himself. Let us give Him our whole heart.  -- St. Peter Eymard

St. Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle
 Be our protection against the wickedness
and snares of the devil;
May God rebuke him, we  humbly pray,
 and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host,
 by the power of God,
 Thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits
who wander through the world seeking the ruin of souls.
 Amen
