Prayers Needed for a Friend

Hi to everyone from Jeanne-inundated Atlanta!
While the generator and the DSL are still working, I'd like to ask for your prayers for a friend. She's the Youth Minister at our parish, and she's been very, very kind to my children as we made the transition from ECUSA to the Catholic Faith. My daughter went on a youth retreat that she led, and thinks she is just wonderful (I think so too.) She is leading the confirmation class that my daughter has just started.
Anyhow, she wasn't in church on Sunday for the confirmands' presentation, and it turned out she spent most of the day in the emergency room. She Emailed us to let us know that she has gallbladder disease and the gallbladder has to come out. She is due to go into surgery Friday morning. Of course she's faithful and trusting in the Lord, but she asked us all to pray for a good outcome and that she can continue to trust in His mercy.
I've seen such wonderful prayers from our FReeper Prayer Warriors, I'd like to ask you please to offer your prayers for this faithful lady's healing. Her name is Heather.

Hi NYer, do you have the Catholic ping list?
One of our own is hurting tonight.

Thank you dandelion!
I can't tell you what comfort I've derived from the prayers of the faithful here, and from joining in prayer for those in need.

Thanks!
We're running off a 3000w generator here, and I may lose power at any time, but keep those prayers coming!

Bless you guys. We're north of you in the mountains and are getting the rain now. Hope you get power restored soon and don't flood out again. Stay safe! Prayers will continue.

Gallbladder problems are very common for women, and the surgery is quite routine. She'll be just fine! She'll be kept in my prayers.

I don't compose pretty prayers that everybody likes to read, but I will certainly pray for your friend.

Prayers for your friend being offered.
To: AnAmericanMother; Salvation
Prayer to St. Jude of Thaddeus,
worker of miracles, help of the hopeless. Most holy Apostle St. Jude,
faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the Church honors and invokes you
universally as the patron of difficult cases, of things most depaired of,
Pray for me I am so helpless and alone. Intercede with God for me that he
brings visible and speedy help where help is most despaired of. Come to
my assistance in this great need that I may receive the consolation and
help of Heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, particularly
(Make your request here) and that I may praise GOD with you and all the
saints forever. I promise, oh blessed St.Jude, to be ever mindful of this great
favor granted me by God, and to always honor you as my special and powerful
patron and to gratefully encourage devotion to you. Amen. May the sacred heart
of Jesus be adored, glorified, loved and preserved throughout the world now and
forever. Sacred heart of Jesus, have mercy on us. St. Jude, worker of miracles,
pray for us. St. Jude, help of the hopeless, pray for us.
**(Say this prayer nine times a day for nine days, followed by the Lord's Prayer.
On the eight day, your prayer will be answered. It has never been known to fail.
Publication must be promised.)**
God Bless AnAmericanMother

I'll be praying. There is no question that a good teacher needs to be in the best of health to do the job these days. The ranks of "Catholic" teachers for so many of the catechism classes is not deep.
