I use a simple plan for handing these out, enrollment used to be a snap too.

I can get the "pot" metal ones for about 50c, the aluminum ones are cheaper, but I think people like the heavy ones better. I buy some leather cording from Tandy (now the name changed), and put a 20-25 inch loop on them. I get them blessed for the week and put one or two in my pocket at a time.

Sometimes I give them to someone in Church, sometimes someone who I chat with, sometimes to children. It is a great grace to be privileged to hand them out.

I guess I can make wallet cards to get people to enroll themselves on-line. I don't carry the paper forms anymore, and I couldn't get them for the longest time.

As a member of the Militia Immaculata, I am encouraged to give out Miraculous Medals. The MI's founder, St. Maximilian Kolbe, described the Medal as a "spiritual bullet" against the enemies of man's salvation. When I first started doing this, I found it hard to do (I was with an MI group who handed a bunch out at the March for Life, and when I was asked to give one to an Orthodox bishop, I was reluctant to). But it gets easier. When I was in Walsingham, England on the Feast of Our Lady's Nativity, I saw a girl, about 12 or 13, dressed in clothing that exposed her mid-riff. I was saddened to see her dressed that way at a Catholic shrine. I had some Miraculous Medals in my bookbag, so I walked up to her and gave her 5, one for each of her family members and asked her to give the Medals to them.
