just because people don't like the man doesn't mean people aren't getting healed.True enough. But the fact that he's a false prophet might do it.

He is coming hear to Lexington soon to tape a show I hear. Packed the house last time he came. Seems to be real profitable talking with the dead. Am I missing something here?

John Edward (there's no S in his name) is a total douchebag. He does cold readings that last FAR longer than what you see on TV, sometimes hours between successful hits, and he's not even all that good at it.
Come out to my booth at the Texas Renaissance Festival this season, and I will chill your spine far better than John Edward ever could.

I met a guy who used to work for the Reverend Leroy Jenkins. Boy you talk about some stories. He was a "cutter" that wen in and told sad stories to get the crowd going before the Reverend came in. I think Steve Martin formed his character in the movie he did a few years back on Mr. Jenkins.

He's not demon-possessed. If he were, it wouldn't take him six hours of studio time to get enough for a one-hour show.
He's just a douchebag. Look up "cold reading" and you'll find out how to learn to do what he does. And ten bucks says that inside a year, you can do it better than he does.

Just so we're straight, John Edward is the douchebag who allegedly talks to the dead. Benny Hinn is the douchebag who allegedly heals the sick.

I used to do cold readings for extra cash at a club. It was so easy it's sad.

Ah, you have already learned his technique!
You'd be shocked how many people really do take him seriously. I had a co-worker at a former job who stayed home for a few weeks after minor surgery and came back raving about "this guy who's totally psychic."
When I explained cold reading to her, she was unconvinced. When I demonstrated it on her, she was shocked.

I just did a post-lunch Tarot reading for one of the secretaries up here. She thinks I'm tuned in to Occult Radio or something. She told me about how my last reading "all came true" - and sure enough, she took the VERY vague statements I made and applied them to whatever was going on that week, and decided I was stone correct.
Reputations for arcane knowledge come cheap!

That's one way to keep the checks coming. I'm not talking about people who may have thought they were healed. I mean healings with medical documentation.
To: Xenalyte
Gypsiees have been making a living at it for thousands of years......I am really not sure if there are any true Psychics....
