Welllllll, GOd knew who CAIN was and from what seed he came their would never be salvation for him. Which seems to me to make it even more obvious that CAIN was'nt from the seed of adam. Trying to prove something definitive--especially about a rank of angels or Cain--on the basis you seem to be using strikes me as tenuous at best and probably more than a little silly.

Arnold Murray's explanation for this is that Noah was told to take Two of ALL flesh into the Ark. Where most of us take that to mean animals, Murray says they also included the "races." (or some such nonsense)

The Nephilim didn't "survive" the flood, they & their offspring were the reason for it. The flood happens in Genesis 7 & 8. The Nephilim are in chapter 6.
