I think they need to change the name of the book from "Numbers" to "Murmers".
I think that when you read a book like Numbers you realize that this is not "myth" but fact. Every tribal "myth" in history always paints the tribes in a positive light. But here in Numbers the Israelites are painted as a selfish and ungrateful and murmuring people. Hardly the kind of picture that people who were making this stuff up would be expected to paint of themselves.
