Same here. I couldn't help but notice some good stuff on your homepage from the Koran. I started reading the Koran online Sept.11, 2001. I noticed within 3 days that everywhere it had Infidel (Jew) and Unbeliever (Christian) that it was removed and simply said Infidel and Unbeliever. I rubbed my eyes and looked over some copy/paste notes I had and sure enough, the entire Koran had been "cleansed". As I do some ftp uploading to a couple sites, I can tell you that you can't edit that online and it must be uploaded which is much slower than downloading. IMHO, the sight owners had a sanitized version of the Koran ready to upload when the fecal matter hit the oscillator. And on a side note, I went into my local bookstore around Sept. 14, 2001 and asked for a copy of the Koran. Everybody got quiet and turned to look at me. I looked around and said (where everyone could hear me), "You should get a copy, too! Read it and you'll know what drives our enemy!".
I said much the same thing when I picked up a replacement copy a year or so ago: "The better to know mine Enemy"
those exact words, as a matter of fact, archaism included.
" I rubbed my eyes and looked over some copy/paste notes I had and sure enough, the entire Koran had been "cleansed"."
I have a Koran from the 1970s. Just a paperback I got used, but it has the original (translated to English) 'uncleansed' verses in it. It useful when looking up what a verse (or verses) really says.
