Who are these people?
From Our Lady's Warriors dissenters list:
Call to Action:
The most visible dissenting group which is a movement of laity and religious seeking to reform the "sinful structure" of the "patriarchal" Church. One could call them the "mother of all dissenting groups" - feminist pun intended. CTA is infamous since its 1994 conference coverage on the CBS news program 60 Minutes. CTA promotes dissent against Church teachings on a broad front, including women's ordination, homosexuality, creation spirituality, married priesthood, and liturgical reforms, while incorporating new age and Wiccan spirituality. Bishop Bruskewitz excommunicated those that belong to this group in his Diocese. Many members belong to local groups called "small faith communities." Renew 2000 also promotes small faith communities. Membership draws heavily from former clergy, feminist nuns, and homosexuals. Members staff COR. CTA serves on the national task force for the We Are Church referendum.
Call to Action (CTA). Rad-dissent-stuck-in-the-sixties-termite-organization trying to eat away the Church. Still on a bad acid trip they got stuck on in 1968. I called them "romanized episcopagans" when I was Anglican, because there is no difference between then and similar carpetbaggers in the RCC.
I mean similar carpetbaggers in the ECUSA. Shoot, there really is no difference between the AmChurch and the ECUSA!
Musicians prepare for Sunday Liturgy
Liturgical dancers lead the processional to start Sunday's Eucharist
Children present gifts made during their workshop at Conference
This one says it all!
Children becoming peacemakers
I left ECUSA in part to get AWAY from these loons.
And why is it that "liturgical dancers" can NEVER, EVER, actually dance?
The woman in the white dress with the HUGE feet is out of alignment from top to bottom - feet off, hips askew, shoulders crooked, arm in the wrong position - my dance mistress would have sent her back to the beginners class. The idiot with the green sash has a pronated back that makes him look like a bad child gymnast, and his right knee is hyperextended. I could go on, but it's worthless.
These people are NOT dancers, and they are NOT liturgical either.
Your beloved Novos Ordo ping
Not interested. And it's "Novus", not "Novos."
Take my advice and purge this nonsense out of the church before it destroys it, the way it has the Episcopal Church. You have a free example of the end result, right in front of you. I don't recommend it.
Lol, words just fail me. I don't know which pic to make fun of first. Oh lets just go with the liturgical dancers. What the heck, is that Ron Reagan in the far left of the pic?
There was a really irritating folk music group years ago. I can't remember the name. Is that a pic of them?
Seriously, can you imagine going into an unfamiliar church and having to deal with this stuff? The last church I quit going to, had nothing on these folks.
My liberal pastor got a dancer one time at the 10:30 Mass.
I go to a different Mass, luckily.
When I heard about it (at about 11:45) I wrote him a letter and told him that if it happened at my Mass I was out the center aisle, with my contribution, and with as many other folks as cared to join me. He heard similar sentiments from others. No dancers since then.
What is that thing about her head? It looks like a flying prehistoric pollywog.
The first pic looks like the cast of the fok music scene spoof film "A Mighty Wind" !
The "New Christy Minstrels"? Oh how their music irritated me!
