Dems Set Homosexual Quota for Convention by Keith Peters, Washington , D.C. , correspondent
If you want to be a delegate to the Democratic Party's national convention this summer it might help to be gay.
It appears the Democratic Party has a quota system for delegates to this summer's convention. State Democratic parties in 15 states and Puerto Rico are requiring that a specific number of their delegates be homosexual, bisexual or transgender. The requirement seems to be part of an effort by Democrats to aggressively court homosexuals and their money.
Bob Knight, director of the Culture and Family Institute at Concerned Women for America , said in a time when the nation seems to be waking up from a culture of excess it's amazing that Democrats still don't get it.
"If they're reaching out specifically to recruit people for delegates based on their willingness to perform perverse acts," Knight said, "then the Democratic Party is quickly becoming the party of sexual anarchy."
Knight doesn't think it's good for Democrats or America .
Mike Haley, who manages the Homosexuality and Gender department for Focus on the Family, said it appears the Democratic Party has lost sight of the ideals of the average American.
"When the decision for gay marriage has been given to the people, anywhere across the country, even in California which is considered one of the most liberal of states," Haley said, "66 percent of the people there decided that marriage was to be kept between a man and a woman."
The quotas might make you wonder about the party's goals Haley certainly does.
"(It) appears," he said, "that they are (trying) to undermine the idea and definition of marriage."
Haley said homosexuals are being given minority status when in fact they don't deserve it.
One dares not imagine how the volunteers will be asked to check credentials.
"One dares not imagine how the volunteers will be asked to check credentials."
Nor imagine how the delegate nomination process looks like.
Homosexual Agenda Ping - Wow, it's the weekend and the items are pouring in anyway. Well, who is it making "gay" **** an issue? Us or them?
More on Dem'o'cr*p affirmative action for "gays". Will the fun ever stop? It's amazing to see mass psychosis in progress. I used to wonder how Hitler could have ever come to power, how he could have tricked/fooled/influenced or forced people to succumb to his evil. Now I know - we're seeing something similar happening. Only even faster because of mass communication technology.
To see the beackground of Nazism and its very close relationship with the origin of the "gay rights" movement, please read "The Pink Swastika" by Scott Lively and Kevin Abrams - available at Amazon or http://www.abidingtruth.com/
You'll be glad you did.
Pingify me if anyone wants on/off this (busy and about to get busier) pinglist.
What's worse are the people who are turning a blind eye.
By not taking a stand people are still taking a stand. It's kind of the default position, and it's not a good one.
Rush Limbaugh and Zell Miller are right...the extreme left have taken over the Demonrat party.
Next, polygamists, pedophiles, and veritable Whitman's sampler of perversions.
Diversity = perversity.
It's the position of the left in this country. They would rather stand by their ideologies...no matter how strange, rather than to stand for absolute truth.
The neoliberals are the strangest creatures on earth. It's like some mental disease. They have no core values so they are paralyzed to act on anything in anyway.
"One dares not imagine how the volunteers will be asked to check credentials."
They might ask those special delegates to wear pink triangles.
The word that describes them very accurately in Sanskrit is "godas" - (that's a singular word) - servant of the senses. Their sensual desires, and the mind which follows behind, are their master. The genitals (or whichever sense, but those are the strongest besides the tongue) says "I WANT IT ALL AND I WANT IT NOW!!!" and the enslaved hedonist says, "Yessir, yessir, three bags full! Right away, master, whatever you say, master."
They don't realize that the fantasy of happiness and satisfaction promised by the mind and the attendant sensual desires is a false promise, like an ugly disease ridden whore promising true faithful love.
Seeing as how the shrinks may take pedophilia out of the DSM-IV (as they did with homosexuality some time ago), the Dem convention in 2008 could have quotas for them too.
The democrats encourage people to make their sexual proclivity their defining public identity. What a disgrace! Sexual activity is a private matter, and people have a right to have different moral views on the acceptability of homosexual behavior.
The democrats' quota also appears to be based on the discredited Kinsey report 10% figure. Most experts now think that Kinsey overestimated the percentage of those with homosexual proclivities. In addition, those that will fill the quota only applies to those who make their sex drive their primary public identity, and do not represent those who may struggle in private, who may be more conservative or traditional religious believers.
The democrats want to make sure the boos for the Boy Scouts will be heard on the elite media.
If there's a quota, then someone has to have some specific word on it. Is there any documentation of this assertion, or any direct testimony for it? Or is the above just rumor that sounds like something some people would like to believe?
" It's like some mental disease."
Well, that's what G.K. Chesterton said at the beginning of the 20th century.
"They don't realize that the fantasy of happiness and satisfaction promised by the mind and the attendant sensual desires is a false promise, like an ugly disease ridden whore promising true faithful love."
Trying to find happiness in that way is like trying to keep a room illuminated all night by lighting successive matches.
Was it Chesterton or Lewis who said that?
The lips of a loose woman drip honey, and her speech is smoother than oil. But in the end she is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword.
That was God who said that.
What's a good Chesterton book to read? I've only read quotes and excerpts here and there. I'm a very busy person and the library around here is very bad, so if you have any titles you can reccommend, I'd appreciate it.
