I'm beginning to think nothing short of force of arms can make them cut it out.
That might not even do it, but what is good about this, is that the laity now has access to the documents. It's out there for all to see. Now we KNOW all the abuses are not coming from the Vatican.
I think there's more to it, though. More along the lines of, We will be looking for men for bishop who adhere to the norms.

Girls or women may also be admitted to this service of the altar, at the discretion of the diocesan Bishop and in observance of the established norms.
Now, in the grand scheme of things, it might not seem like much of a problem, but consider that things like this usually lead to other abuses, and to dissent (like the push for the ordination of women).
