1) My dictionary defines polytheism as the worship of
or belief in more than one god.
2) I've read the King Follett Discourse. Joe Smith changed his mind partway through his "prophetic" career: so much the worse for him, and Mormonism, since he contradicted the "scripture" he made up.

***polytheism being the worship of false pagan gods, idols of wood and stone.***
"Council of Gods"... sound familiar?
Hint: Egyptian funerary notice "translated" into the Book of Abraham?
***polytheism being the worship of false pagan gods, idols of wood and stone. ***
"You shall have no other gods before Me."
Reckon that includes "gods in embryo form?"

What happened to the "natural man" and "when you are converted language"? Has someone dunked me by proxy?

Thanks for the confirmation.

Actually, it is not. Catholic theology permits self-defense, and killing suicide bombers before they kill others is the height of heroism. Again, that's because you do not understand why he did it. Why don't you do yourself a favor and quit fixating on it?

The italicized print in your post is not my quote and I do not see how it relates to the Pope kissing a Koran.
Would you be upset if the Pope kissed....
[1] A copy of Calvin's Institutes
[2] The Book of Mormon
[3] Hitler's Mein Kampf

Again, the Koran is not in and of itself EVIL, it can be perverted to evil purposes by diseased minds. So can Christianity.

Are these comparable statements?
To: drstevej
Mein Kampf was written by a diseased mind. The Koran was written by a confused mind. There are good Muslims. There are no good Nazis.

So kissing confusion is kosher?
Reckon he'll kiss the Book of Mormon or the Bhagavad Gita ???

Why must you continue to talk in hypothetcals?
Do you think you understand Catholicism better than John Paul II?

I am always exhorting you to a better theology -- one that does not embrace a false priesthood, false prophets, false ordinances, false scripture resulting in a false hope.
Other than that, you're doing just fine, Rich.
To: drstevej
Your #335:
I am always exhorting you to a better theology None better than that which comes from Jesus Christ Himself through apostles and prophets He has sent.
See my #333.

Biblically speaking, you belong to a non-prophet organization.

None better than that which comes from Jesus Christ Himself through apostles and prophets He has sent. That's exactly the theology Dr. Steve exhorts you to. Your problem is theology from "apostles" and "prophets" He didn't send.
