Oh, Stickman, you are on the right road. Journey Home was one of the ways the Lord drew us to the CC two years ago. Even when we were in RCIA, we would rush home Monday evenings just in time to watch it. The Lord definitely works through EWTN. Follow His leading, you will not regret it. We surely have not.
We started out in the (spirit-filled) Episcopal Church, too. And ran fleeing. I missed the Eucharist so terribly — that is what brought us to the Catholic Church.
So how does this former Pentecostal deal with the rampant evolutionism and Biblical criticism in the Catholic Church, which is made all the more hypocritical by its belief in miracles like this?
Not unless they were daft. I haven’t been in a Protestant or Catholic Church which doesn’t preach Jesus constantly, why else would you convert? for coffee and donuts and pot lucks?

Exactly - many people go to church - but really its a social club.

And God realized His mistake and sent this person to the Catholic church...
If this fella was healing people and led by the spirit before he became Catholic, which spirit do you think it was...No doubt it was the same spirit that led him to your church...And the same spirit that works in him today...
In Matthew Chapter 10 He called the apostles together and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out and heal all manner of sickness. In Mark 16 He says in My Name they shall cast out devils, speak with new tongues, take up serpents, they shall lay their hands upon the sick and they shall recover.
The gifts are for a sign...The signs are for the Jews...
This guy is not qualified to teach the bible let alone be a pastor...
Catholics are a gullible lot...
