You are at least consistent. You imgaine that the god who creates for destruction and rules with an iron fist deciding all things and willing the worst of human evilness would judge a new believer based not upon his opportunity but upon some arbitrary imaginray standard.
Did you excise "to whom much is given, much is expected" from your version? There is a corollary.
And, by the way, this man provided a witness, both then and in the pages of our Book. So he was not without good deeds. Not that it matters. The True God does not expect a lifetime's worth of merit in a few fleeting seconds. What is not tolerated is a few minutes worth of merit in a lifetime of "belief."
