Thanks, Gamey. I had confidence that an army-type could run and AAR on just about anything...LOL!

I agree. The perpetual virginity, imo, is probably inaccurate....I think honesty demands that everyone acknowledge the POSSIBILITY that it is inaccurate BECAUSE it isn't directly addressed in scripture. But that's a different subject entirely, isn't it?

I've also questioned Arminianism's refusal to acknowledge the "once removed determinism" of absolute foreknowledge.

I think both Arminius and Wesley acknowledge it, but many modern evangelicals have difficulty accepting it.

Any more on your part?

Off the top of my head I cannot think of any other critiques of Calvinism. I'm not saying there are other problems. The guy was just so prolific I can't keep track of everything he wrote.

I must however cling to the Doctrines of Grace . It is spelled out so clearly in scripture that I can't ignore it or explain it away. Believe me, I tried and just stopped fighting. I have much more peace in my life since I went over to the "Dark Side" in 1995. I know that God has 100% control over his creation and that gives me peace on bad days (like when my father died and on Sept 11).
