Jumping around. Scripture doesn't say that Christ Gave Peter the keys all to himself. It merely shows Peter being given the keys. The keys to the Kingdom of heaven. Keys are for locking and unlocking. He unlocked the Kingdom to the Israelites; but, Paul did so for the Gentiles. For Paul to do so means he Has to have the keys. For according to scripture, no one may open that which is shut by God, not shut that which is open. It's common sense. It's like saying Christ gave peter a phone and six chapters later, people across the empire that don't even know Peter are making phone calls - tells you Peter isn't the only one with a phone. Common sense. Something your clergy counts on not being used unless in the manner they wish and to the exclusion of seeing through the elaborate masquerade.
