Apart from being chosen by Mr. Robinson, what qualifies you from an academic and Biblical perspective to be the arbitrator of what is viewed as "appropriate" on the Free Republic forum on Religion? I am not seeking to be controversial but this is a valid question, especially given the fact that you will now control what is deemed or perceived as suitable or not.

You know Religion. The Moderator knows rudeness.

lol.....I kind of wondered that myself.

Apparently you must get a doctor of divinity degree to be qualified to moderate the religion forum. Who knew! :)

The moderator has said that theology itself will not be examined by him or her and sides will not be taken. Only behavior will be moderated. I don't have a problem with that.

Now, if theology does begin to be censored, that would be a SERIOUS SERIOUS problem and I would say why now just let the religion forum go then because it would be like a prison in here instead of free debate.

However, by the clear words of the appointed moderator, that is not going to be the case; theology is not going to be censored.
