Hefe Def. - A German word meaning "yeast". Used mostly in conjunction with wheat (weiss) beers to denote that the beer is bottled or kegged with the yeast in suspension (hefe-weiss). These beers are cloudy, frothy and, very refreshing.
Yeah, now I know what you mean. I usually call them weiss.
As in, "That Franklin was a weiss man."

Just curious, are you a she or a he?
***Yes. And I questioned quasi-hot words until I quit hearing them. ***
This sure sounds like my mom!

I don't want to start that whole discussion here (I've heard all the arguments on both sides), but let me just say this.
ADD does exist. I have it. I have a child with it. Grades 2-4 Ritalin was a lifesaver. When he started hitting puberty, it stopped working. Dr. tried two other drugs, neither of which worked. I pulled the plug.
Like I said, Grades 2-4 it was a lifesaver. I don't think I'd do it again.
That's ALL I will say about it.

Your #419:
it is not our desire to drive people away. Agreed. We all want the gentle ones who have been driven away to come back, and the aggressive ones to cooperate and live by the rules of the forum.
Thanks for your help, and for all that you do.

And the whiney ones to quit their whining. Right?

I would ask several former mormons to give you a more informative response via freepmail - you will find them both polite and reasoned
IMO - both upright Trinitarian Christians who believe in the divinity of Christ and soveriegn nature of God

Mine went from France to Germany then Holland. They fought with William of Orange against the Stuarts. Then they got the land grant in Virginia. (not far from where I live now)

As it turns out on reexamination, the number is 21. The source,
here, is the same one I already linked to. 19 is the number of Orthodox denominations (oops) and 13 is a typo.
(b) any reasonable final tally works for the purposes of my main argument,
Tell me, if you would, why are there pro-choice Catholics?

The problem is the posts containing personal attacks and false accusations. They violate the rules of this forum, and the moderators deal with that as they see fit. respectfully WM, I've seen threads regarding the congressional testimony of Maj. Carleton regarding the infamous MMM last exactly 3 posts. The was no editiorializing nor comment - yet they got whacked
will these now be tolerated - or will pro-LDS be the only ones that survive?
Im frankly skeptical by whose measure we judge "false attacks"

quasi-prude moderatorPrude is good. There should be more prudes around, especially in public places.
I still remember the bar of soap I got, just like Ralphie is "A Christmas Story" -- a nice, piquant, after-dinner flavor...
But colorful or emphatic language is a different story.

That is good news! Thanks!

For the record my reasoning concerning the word in question is that it wouldn't surprise me to find more than a few adult women posters here who find it offensive. If I'm wrong on that, I can be so educated, although I would still prefer it not be used. Somehow it's so jarring on a religion forum, ya know?

Oh, I'm sorry. I just re-read the post and realized that I'm not supposed to do that.

Cool. I love history. Virginia's an interesting place.
Our son almost went to Washington and Lee. But 9-11 hit, and I panicked and pulled the plug on long plane rides.
I'd probably make a lousy Huguenot.
