Perhaps your points are valid. I can identify with her. I was raised in the 60's too. I went to catholic school for 16 years. No catechesis at all. Many felt banners, situational ethics, etc. I have lived in several places and many parishes are hardly orthodox. I guess one should focus on God's blessings, but we all have different personalities and experiences. It is a shame so much Catholic heritage has been abandoned and few seem to want to reclaim it.

**and few seem to want to reclaim it.**

These words are more important that we might think! We need to reclaim our Cahtolic heritage and learn out it (thouroughly -- and in an orthodox manner).

Then and only then can we start to proclaim it!
