Thanks for the ping. Looks very interesting, but I'll have to save it for the next week as I can't keep my eyes open anymore, and the next days promise to be non-stop.

Cardinal Dulles had a good analysis of the development of death penalty doctrine in light of tradition. Why can't you guys conduct a similar respectful critique, rather than slurring the Pope and faithful Catholics as "neo-Catholics"? It demonstrates a distinct lack of charity and willingness to fight for the deposit of faith within the Catholic Church rather than outside of it.

Yawn. As much as I like some of the things Chris Ferrara has said in the past, he is too fixated on attacking people who should be his friends than on those true enemies of the Church and of Western Civilization. His tactics are horrible if he really, truly hopes to win this battle and not just be a bomb-thrower creating random havoc.

I hope that someday Chris will stop trying to generate readership by attacking those he views as competitors and focus on the real issues facing the Church (i.e., the homosexualization/feminization of the American Church). If he did that, he might have a shot at getting a subscription out of me.
