Have either of you guys come across a more reliable translation yet?
It seems odd that it has only been released in Italian so far - all recent documents have also been released in English at the same time!
I haven't started wearing a tin-foil hat yet, but I am beginning to smell a rat somewhere!

Deep Purple is what comes to my mind (vestment color right, anyway)
Hush hush - I thought I heard her calling my name now
Hush hush - She broke my heart but I love her just the same now
Hush hush - Thought I heard her calling my name now
Hush hush - I need that love and I'm not to blame now
LOL.

Hummm... After witnessing some "oddities" at several Masses in the last few months, I'm beginning to suspect that bablefish was used to translate the revised GIRM in some dioceses.

I'm glad someone else is on my wavelength (selfishly misery loves company!)... cute puppies and homey things to eat didn't come to my mind... but a drug hazed rock band did and right away, too... :-)

I'm shocked it took 26 posts for someone to mention the song.
I'd only be half suprised if it showed up in the next OCP hymnal.

but I am beginning to smell a rat somewhere Nah ... that's probably just the nearest Chinese Restauarant to you. If you sniffed hard enough, you'd probably smell the General Tso's Fried Pigeon too! ;-)

When we are incensing the altar this evening I'm gonna have a job to get the tune of Smoke on the Water out of my head now!
In fact if we got some freaky candles we could get a good Purple Haze going as well.
